Colonial Square Ladies Curling Classic celebrates 25 years

Scott Matheson, Chairman of one of the longest running Canadian ladies curling bonspiel is proud to welcome the Colonial Square Inn and Suites as the new title sponsor for the Colonial Square Ladies Curling Classic.
This year’s event is scheduled for October 27 –30 is already full with a waiting list. This will be the 25th Classic held at the Nutana Curling Club – making it one of the longest continuously running women’s bonspiels in the country.
The 32-team field annually reads like a who’s who of women’s curling and has included national and world champions as well as Olympic champions and international competitors. Previous winners include the late Sandra Schmirler, Sherry Anderson , Renelle Bryden, Sherry Middaugh, Kelley Law, Shannon Kleibrink, Michelle Englot, Cathy Trowell and Stefanie Lawton.
