Schmirler Charity Curling Classic Brings the Best of Canada and the World to Regina Source: Schmirler Classic Release Regina, SK – The Schmirler Charity Curling Classic presented by Bank of America will feature some of the best women's curling teams in the world competing for an excellent purse from September 25 to 28 at the Caledonian Curling Club.
This year's field promises exciting competition with teams who have already been confirmed as their country's Olympic representatives - China (Wang - 2009 World Champion), United States (Debbie McCormick), Russia (Privivkova) and Japan (Meguro). Teams from Canada, many preparing for the upcoming Canadian Curling Trials which will determine Canada's curling representative to the Vancouver 2010 Olympics, include Shannon Kleibrink (AB), Stefanie Lawton (SK), Kelly Scott (BC), Sherry Anderson (SK), Sherry Middaugh (ON) and many others of Canada's best.
